A & K, Art and Kraft value your privacy. This policy explains how we process your personal data and about your rights. Personal data is any information that can be connected to you as a private person, for example name and contact information.

In short, this is why we process your data:

  • To the extent necessary for handling and delivering your order.

  • To give you offers and inspiration both by newsletters and by targeted marketing in social media, and other media online and offline.

  • To ask you about A & K, Art and Kraft and your experience with us.

A & K, Art and Kraft is responsible for the processing of your personal data. Please note also that some of our providers of payments and logistics process personal data collected through our site or IT system upon purchase and are independently responsible for their processing.

HOW AND WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

​Our aim is to be as transparent as possible regarding how and why we process your personal data. See below for more detailed information about why we process your personal data (the purposes of processing), what personal data we process, our legal basis for processing your personal data, and how long we process your personal data for each purpose. We process personal data that you have chosen to share with us.

  • Our company A & K, Art and Kraft is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. Your data is secured on secure servers behind a firewall. The data we collect in the database is personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback and personal profile for as long as you hold a member account with us. This can be deleted at any time with your consent. You can delete you customer account at any time by contacting contact@aandkart.com and change your details on your registered account.

  • When you conduct a transaction on our www.aandkart.com website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only for obtaining goods and delivery. Information will be kept only for a year and will be kept up to date. For any Custom Wall Art, we at A & K, Art and Kraft will contact you via email to send a preview of the design before sending over to our printers for your approval only. We at A & K, Art and Kraft will delete your uploaded photo for Custom Art prints from the system once your order has been delivered.

  • We only contact you for marketing materials such as newsletter emails, if you have subscribed by ticking the checkbox upon registering for a customer account.

  • All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company such as PayPal adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. This information is kept until purchase has been credited to A & K, Art and Kraft.

  • ­Our blog allows you to comment and write reviews on our website, your personal data such as username will be displayed on site when a comment or review is published by you. This can be deleted or edited by the account holder at any time.

  • We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our www.aandkart.com website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; log in; email address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools such as Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. This is data is held until necessary for marketing purposes only.

  • We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email.

WHO CAN GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal information is processed primarily by us at A & K, Art and Kraft. We will never sell your personal data. We only share your personal data to carry out payments, to delivery carriers and our print service provider. See below for more details:

  • Our payment provider(s) are PayPal and Wix Payments they will need to obtain your personal data such as name, address, payment details to make payouts to A & K Art and Kraft on purchases from our website.

  • In order to print and deliver your Custom Wall Art, we need to share your personal data such as name and address only and the artwork we create for the Custom Wall Art with our printing service provider My Picture www.my-picture.co.uk who will send out the custom goods to your address on our behalf.

  • ­In order for us to deliver your goods to your home address or to a postal agent, we will share your personal data such as name and address with a delivery carrier i.e. DHL, UPS, ROYAL MAIL, DPD etc.

  • ­To market relevant products and to make our website pages as dynamic and user friendly as possible we collect cookies on our website, see cookies section, we also monitor using Google Analytics. To see how visitors are browsing our site, which pages are most popular and only for marketing purposes.

DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE OF THE EU/EEA?
